Seasons Greetings
... or, why we didn't send any Christmas cards
It is a tradition at Smith Myers Communications that we
do not send Christmas cards to customers and associates
but that instead we make a donation to charity.
As well as being more environmentally friendly it is a way for us, in the true
spirit of the Christmas season, to spread a little goodwill.
We are sure that you will all appreciate this approach and may we take this opportunity
to wish everyone the very best of the season.

For 2007 we have made donations to three charities. These are:
 |
Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research.
They support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists,
doctors and nurses. |
 |
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international humanitarian aid organisation that provides
emergency medical assistance to populations in danger in more than 70 countries. |
 |
Garden House Hospice in Letchworth is a local charity offering hospice care and support to patients
from the community with a terminal diagnosis. It serves the communities of Baldock, Hitchin, Letchworth,
Royston, Stevenage and the surrounding villages of North Hertfordshire. |

Christmas / New Year Shutdown
Smith Myers will close its doors for the Christmas break on Friday
21st December 2007 and will reopen on Wednesday 2rd January
2008. During this period our main phone line will
be available for leaving messages but we regret that we
will be unable to respond until the New Year.
